How do Lacie external hard drives compare to other brands? - external hard drive software
My external hard drive from Hitachi has struggled recently, and I think that buying a new hard drive. I've been looking online and found a pile of hard drives from LaCie. What LaCie external hard drives of other brands such as Hitachi, Seagate and Western Digital? LaCie seems to be a little cheaper than other brands. Is there a reason why? Which brand is the best and why?

They are practically equal when it comes to reliability. Lazio are probably cheaper because they only take one of the units of the rates can avail (usually by Hitachi, WD or Seagate, curiously). Hitachi, WD, Seagate and use your own hard drive and sets the rates that they experience.
